Welcome to the new Hybrid
Herps website. Some of you might remember this site from my good
old days. After a short absence from the reptile community I have
returned and decided to reinstate this site. I hope this site will
grow as its membership grows. I am completely open to comments and
suggestions as well as any help that might be offered.
Hybrid = the offspring of two animals or plants of different breeds, varieties, species, or genera, as produced through human manipulation for specific genetic characteristics.
Intergrade = The crossing of two species or subspecies that occurs in the wild.
For the pourpose of this site all reptiles bred in captivity will be refered to as Hybrids. Those that are wild caught will be refered to as Intergrades.
